Tucker Carlson has made a career out of shouting the quiet part out loud on television, but in 2023, it seems the controversial Fox News host has turned Truth up to eleven and resolved to report on-air what just a few years ago would have been considered journalistic suicide.
On Thursday, Carlson, as a means of explaining how far the Deep State will go to protect itself and further its agenda, explained that the powers that truly run Washington, D.C. had former President Richard Nixon — “the most popular president in American history” — booted from the White House because he suggested that the CIA assassinated

They elected Biden, Trump terrified them. But why work against America? Infiltrated by communists from the get go.

The problem with this is that he has to be VERY certain that the dots he's connecting can't be reasonably connected another way. He's one of the last credible conservative spokesmen left and therefore a major target of the liberals. They are constantly coiled and just waiting to strike if he misspeaks or missteps. The UNITED Dems and the sycophantic media see a vulnerability and chip away until they get what they want. Which is 1 less conservative. Anyhow, anytime, anywhere.

Maybe, maybe not. But it was a coup, no question. And compared to what we see today, and have seen since Clinton?
Nixon and his "Palace Guard" were patriots in a difficult time, unlike the gutter trash traitors we have running things today.

What was most interesting to me is that I have never heard, in all of these years, that Woodward was not a journalist and had a background in Navy intelligence. If that information was public knowledge, it was well-hidden for the entire time since Watergate took place. This obviously suggests that Woodward was placed and the WaPo colluded, to bring down Nixon. And Woodward is still writing obnoxious political books, and as far as I know, has never publicly discussed his background.

the CIA with the assistance of Lyndon Johnson killed Kennedy because Kennedy was anti-Communist and really didn't give a damn about the race relations in the USofA, which Johnson was forced into supporting because it was good politics
Lyndon Johnson wanted two things in the waning days of his political life: to be President and ... Jackie Kennedy, he was a loathsome human being, so very typical of the current demcommies

We were fascinated by Tucker’s opening monologue last night. I never knew Gerald Ford was on the Warren Commission or that Bob Woodward was not a journalist originally.

I hope Tucker has plenty of body guards. I do remember reading that when Woodward took his "suspicions" to the paper's editor, the editor didn't believe it. There's been deep corruption all along. The very sad part was when I told my grown daughter about President Nixon last night she was shocked. She didn't know he had won the election in the biggest landslide ever.

I've always thought that LBJ was at the root of getting rid of Kennedy so he could be President but that other info has been well hidden from the public for all these years. The Woodward info was especially astonishing to me.

Tucker's broadcast was very enlightening, based on what we know about the FBI today. We did not connect the dots re the Asst FBI Director feeding all the anti-Nixon rot to the WaPo. The Watergate burglars were "former" CIA. The Watergate Congressional hearings were a smear job against Republicans. We had no internet then. The media controlled the narrative. Nixon was overthrown by a Deep State coup. HW Bush was overthrown by the Democrat machinery introducing Ross Perot into the presidential race to split off Bush votes, Clinton winning with 43% of the vote. Democrats attempted a coup at the start in Florida to prevent GW Bush from ever gaining the presidency. Then, the Deep State has spent over 6 years trying to destroy Trump, succeeding in the coup of 2020. We do not have a democracy, or a republic. You decide nothing.

FTA: 'He discussed a psychiatrist called Louis Jolyon “Jolly” West — an architect of the CIA’s mind-control program, MK-ULTRA — who visited Jack Ruby in a Dallas jail.' Someone else who visited Ruby in his cell was Dorothy Kilgallen. She was a smart, fierce, actually investigative, actual reporter back then. She told certain intimate friends, after meeting with Ruby, that she had learned info that would bust the assassination story wide open. Shortly thereafter, she was found dead under extremely suspicious circumstances. Her death was basically swept under the rug. I'd think some ambitious journalist would now revisit her story, in light of these new revelations. But, perhaps wisely, they won't....for fear of what she got.

Returning from the war and just married when Watergate happened it's strange to see the dots connected in this manner because I saw it in real time on television only. I didn't know Ford was on the Warren Commision and chosen by the democrats to succeed after Agnew was railroaded out like Mike Flynn was. Amazing so the beat goes on. A side note my wife believes all the hateful stories about how horrible Nixon was when I try to tell her he was great. The persona of Nixon is like the lies told about mean tweeting Trump.

Not sure I buy it. Tucker has become quite the conspiracy guy lately. Are there big government conspiracies? Against Trump, it is 100% certain. Prior to that....it gets a lot murkier and more difficult to know, especially since essentially all the players have been dead for many years.

Once you get beyond the romantic myth of how "good" the United States is one discovers how sordid and evil our history really is. Understanding who the Dulles brothers were and what they did is truly eye-opening as to how Americans has been deceived and manipulated.

I'd say #13 doesn't have a clue, and #12 and #17 are absolutely correct. I also think LBJ wanted JFK gone, so I doubt he was innocent in facilitating the CIA.

Among other reasons, there have been persistent stories that after a visit to Hawaii which featured JFK seeing a UFO, his intention to release information on the subject was a contributing factor in his assassination. I have long felt LBJ and/or the CIA had a hand in Kennedy's death. Nixon was hated by Democrats and the MSM since he helped expose Alger Hiss as a Russian communist spy in the late 1940s. I think Carlson is onto something.

Reluctantly, I have to agree with #17 after 73 years of life living as a patriotic veteran in this country
We have been lied to repeatedly.
So many lies and cover-ups
I truly believe evil exists in these deep state swamp rat bastids.....
The lie cheat steal mentality from these overseers has ruined our freedoms and liberties now...
Make America Great Again seems impossible today....hope I get to say I was wrong before I die.
God bless America

Years ago when he was sane Chris Matthews wrote a convincing book demonstrating that the Teddy Kennedy actually pulled the strings on the Watergate Committee but the nail in the coffin was the loss of support by Barry Goldwater and the southern conservatives who thought Nixon too liberal. Nixon got his revenge though and you see it every time you buy a product made in China rather than the USA or lose a loved one to Covid.

And as much I enjoy Tucker I remember 3 years ago he told us FJB would not get the nomination or get elected. The future is always hard to predict. I’d say that Knees Harris is gold plated impeachment insurance . And as November shows us never underestimate the GOPs ability to drop the ball. At this point my money is on Biden’s reelection.

Something the past coupla years has taught me is that it's actually naive to believe ANYthing because we know NOthing. Both sides -- "conspiracy theorists" as well as their Much Wiser Betters -- have consumed information produced by people with a bias from one end of the continuum or the other.
It's quite a relief to not stake my confidence in things I have no way of knowing.

There is truth to Tucker's claim. I have always believed that Kennedy's killing was an inside job. The CIA thought Kennedy was a problem on defeating (assassinating) Fidel Castro and the USSR in Cuba (aka communism, Nikita Krushchev's USSR) and felt the need to intervene. Kennedy wanted to settle things his way - peacefully. Because of this, the CIA thought Kennedy was out of his mind and wanted Kennedy killed in the interest of national security. Enter the leftist from Texas, Lyndon Johnson who I would regard as the second worst US president. Vegetable remains in No. 1 position.
How many of you are old enough to remember the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962? We came mighty close to getting nuked to death. Remember McCarthyism in the 1950s and anti-communism? My, how America has changed.

As a young boy of 7 years old, (who was just learning how to shoot a BB gun)- when I heard the news, and saw the circumstances of the shooting being broadcast on TV, with a crazy looking Lee Harvey Ozwald supposedly shooting the president multiple times in the head while he's riding in a moving vehicle, from an upper window- my reaction then was the same as it is now- no way! Only a trained assassin could pull off something like that!

I would not be surprised if this was true. I would also not be surprised if they had their fingers in the Kennedy assassination pie as well. Whatever they had on Prescott Bush had to have scared the snot out of Dubya, because instead of cleaning up the CIA, he sat silent for two terms and his director Porter Goss ran screaming for the tall grass and completely disappeared. The FBI is truly bad, but the CIA is rotted clear through like zombies.

After watching the political assassination of the 45rh POTUS in broad daylight by our deep state, I've no doubt that they could have murdered another POTUS.
But Woodhead was a journalist According to Wikipedia. After the Navy he started applying at papers.
Much else however rings true e.g. Ruby and the shrink.

Re #30: No, It was a simple shot for Oswald, who was a U.S. Marine sharpshooter. 80-85 yard shot at a very slow moving target while looking through a 4X scope. Any competent shooter could have managed that shot. Kennedy was hit once in the neck, once in the head. Oswald did it.

#13 is correct. If the CIA was setting someone up to kill JFK, why use an erratic little fool like Oswald? I go with Occam’s Razor on this one. We know Oswald was the shooter. He killed Officer Tibet’s while on the run and had earlier tried to kill right wing General Edwin Walker. The left has never accepted the fact that one of their own killed the golden boy of Camelot.
