A federal judge has ordered former President Donald J. Trump and his lawyer to pay nearly $1 million in sanctions to cover legal costs for failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and other defendants in a failed lawsuit against them for promoting the Russia collusion hoax. On Thursday night, US District Judge Donald Middlebrooks tore into Trump and attorney Alina Habba in a blistering 46-page filing that, in addition to blasting them for abusing the courts, ordered that the $938,000 financial penalty be paid. “This case should never have been brought,” wrote the Bill Clinton appointee. “Its inadequacy as a legal claim was evident from the start

Amazing. This Clinton appointed judge oversees a lawsuit against the lovely and gracious Hillary and then rules in favor of the Cow of Chappaqua. Who didn’t see that coming?

Trump's lawyers should have done a much better job of forum shopping. Democrats have mastered the art of filing lawsuits before friendly judges. A good lawyer knows the law. A great lawyer knows the judge.

I am a proponent of having the plaintiff, who initiates the civil suit, pay the court costs of the defendant, who prevailed. President Trump should have known that Mrs. Clinton would never lose a suit brought by him against her even though her liability is obvious. In our thoroughly corrupt justice system Hillary Clinton will never see the inside of a courtroom as a defendant. She is untouchable. Trump wasted his money.

Sounds like a very biased judge, but who let the case be heard in the first place? Someone had an initial hearing in front of the judge who determined it had merit to go forward, right? Or, it would have been dismissed before it went further, so why all of the expenses? Presume it's part of the "get Trump".

The unadulterated havoc created, and almost blissfully sustained, by the Biden administration has put a spotlight on attributes of this president that many Americans find reprehensible. Two years have passed since Joe Biden dubiously ascended to the White House on the promise of ushering in a new era of moderation, transparency, and globalism.  Instead, his ham-handed policies, whether conjured up from what remains of his feeble mind or from his cynical cast of puppet masters, are blazing a nationwide path of destruction on the American economy and psyche.  Why not, then, spare ourselves the collective misery of the present and ponder what might rectify our national embarrassment in a hypothetical

In 2016, his last year as vice-president, “middle class Joe” reported between $291,000 and about $1 million in assets and income outside his vice-presidential salary of $230,700.
