A health expert has sharply criticized the Chinese regime’s lifting of international travel restrictions in the midst of a massive COVID wave sweeping through the country, saying the move is “extremely irresponsible” and could cause a global resurgence of the pandemic. The National Health Commission announced on Dec. 26 that the country would end all quarantine requirements for inbound travelers from Jan. 8, 2023. Travelers will need to obtain a negative PCR test within 48 hours of departure, it said. Currently, travelers entering China need to undergo five days of mandatory quarantine in an approved facility, followed by three days at home.

A Rasmussen Reports survey of 1,000 American Adults was conducted on December 28-30, 2022. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. (Snip) Consistent with a prior Zogby survey, Rasmussen found seventy-one percent (71%) say they have received a COVID-19 vaccination, while 26% have not. Concerns about vaccine safety are much higher among the unvaccinated. However the vaccinated appear to be waking up to the harms of the shots.
Among the vaccinated, many of whom pushed the COVID-19 shots on family members or in the workplace, now 38% consider unexplained deaths from the vaccine at least somewhat likely.

Happy New Year’s Eve! As I sat down to start writing, I reflected on my long, strange journey from unassuming small-town lawyer to freedom-activist blogger. At Christmas, instead of a lot of pop Christmas songs, I have been listening to passages from Handel's Messiah" oratorio, including the powerfully beautiful Christmas-oriented "For unto us a child is born" based on the writings of the Prophet Isaiah, and the soaringly magnificent Hallelujah Chorus. To hear these, compared to everything else makes me ask if this was the pinnacle of human musical achievement? Will there ever be anything greater?
An argument can be made for it at least this far.
This oratorio, after all, is touched by eternity.

A licensed psychtherapist who testified against laws banning so-called conversion therapy says he warned Americans about Sam Brinton, the non-binary Biden administration nuclear official who is facing charges for allegedly stealing two pieces of luggage at two separate airports.
“My colleagues and I warned lawmakers in California and Massachusetts, and the LGBT activist groups which were sponsoring him, about Sam Brinton’s ever-changing story about abuse he allegedly underwent in therapy because of his LGBT attractions,” Dr. Joseph Nicolosi, Jr., the therapist and founder of the Reintegrative Therapy Association, said. “But nobody cared, so Brinton’s testimony about his alleged experience played a key role in banning legitimate practices across the nation.”
Rasmussen polled the American people with a simple four question survey and found that my polls were accurate and so was the V-safe data and so was the Israeli Ministry of Health safety report that nobody wants to see.
The Rasmussen poll of 1,000 Americans found that:
32% were not vaccinated
7% of those surveyed had a major side effect.
A 7% major side effect rate is unprecedented. We know from the V-safe data that this effectively means that the side effect was so bad, they had to seek medical attention. If any drug had that kind of safety profile, it would be immediately pulled from the market.

Conservative writer and author David French is joining The New York Times as a columnist, the newspaper announced on Tuesday.

Matt Gaetz decided to play hardball Tuesday evening, writing to the Architect of the Capitol that Kevin McCarthy should not be allowed to occupy the physical office of the Speaker of the House considering that he just lost three consecutive votes for the position: (Tweet) “The Speaker of the House Office in the Capitol is currently being occupied by Kevin McCarthy,” Gaetz wrote. “Kevin McCarthy is not the Speaker of the House. A group of 20 Republicans voted for Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) on the second day of voting for House speaker, denying House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) the gavel in the fourth ballot.
Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) nominated Donalds when the House came back in session at noon Wednesday.

The College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) ordered clinical psychologist and author Jordan Peterson to complete six months of “re-education” about social media professionalism following complaints about comments he made on social media and on the Joe Rogan podcast, Peterson explained in a Wednesday Twitter thread.

This of course makes perfect sense because other than our friend Scott Jennings, Adam Kinzinger is the only type of "Republican" voice allowed on CNN. No real conservative viewpoint is welcomed.
