'My nation's original sin': Biden apologizes
to delegation of African leaders for the
'unimaginable cruelty' of slavery and
offers them $55billion - as Rwandan president
mocks US in front of laughing crowd

Joe Biden on Wednesday apologized for the 'unimaginable cruelty' of slavery, which he referred to as America's 'original sin', and pledged $55 billion in investment to the continent. Speaking during a gathering of almost all African leaders in Washington DC - the first since Barack Obama convened a summit in 2014 - Biden expressed regret for the past, but insisted: 'The United States is all in on Africa's future.' During a White House dinner honoring African leaders and their spouses, Biden addressed what he called America's 'original sin' - the enslavement of millions of people - and honored their descendants and the broader African diaspora community in the United States.

America´s original sin? Please. Slavery is a huge problem, now, in East Africa, on the Arabian Peninsula, and in - gasp! - the United States. Yes, today. Don´t worry, though, Joe´s on the case, throwing $55 billion at corrupt dictators who laugh at us, after all we´ve done to help Africa. Those $55 billion will end up in numbered Swiss bank accounts, and everyone knows it, apparently except Ol´Joe. For a man who wants to "beat the hell" out of people he doesn´t like behind the bleachers, he sure seems to lack any basic self-respect. Or respect for the struggling American people, from whom he intends to rob $55 billion at gunpoint, through a lavishly funded and corrupt IRS. (I´ll likely be audited, tomorrow, merely for writing this.) Of course that group of jackals laugh at us openly. A group of African "leaders" (aka, thugs) that was convened, for no particular reason, by Joe Biden.

IF he REALLY cared he would do something abt slavery in today's world. But alas he doesn't REALLY care he just wants to give them our money. If you want to give money away do it here. And how much of that money will get to "their people"? (Other than the leaders and criminals who will steal it.

It was North African Barbary Pirates who were rounding up Africans for the Slave Trade! It was also rival African Tribal Leaders who were sent their excess slaves to the West African coast for sale at the ports of European trade. The "problem" originate with AFRICAN Leaders - the very ones YOU are talking to, Dementia Joe. Btw, the Zulus were NEVER taken for slaves because they were warriors and would fight to the death, something sadly missing from the Central African tribal mentality. Besides, what tyrants, like the Democrat Party, want is to put people back in shackles and trade them like chattel. By the way, slavery is NOT mentioned in the Bible as a "sin." The Bible neither condemns nor condones slavery, either New, or Old Testament. In both cases, God, through His Word, established rules regarding fair treatment of slaves, and even rules regarding the granting of freedom to slaves. Many slaves in the ancient world won their freedom and continue working for their original master's, as a family "administrator." Africa is the "ancestral womb" of the Slave Trade, not Europe.

So. Many. Questions. Why, especially in a conversation with actual Africans, even bring up the topic of historical slavery in the US during the pre-1860s? On the chance that one of Biden’s handlers might see this, I’d remind them that there’s literally no one (zero, not a single one) human alive today who isn’t descended from not only people who were once owned by other people, but also people who owned other people. Yes, all of us. If having an ancestor who was directly involved in slavery were a crime, everyone alive today would be simultaneously both victim and perpetrator. What would be wonderful, if Biden’s handlers wanted to make a real difference, is to do something about the actual slavery happening today. In your neighborhood, in your state, in your nation, and all around the world. Stop that, and you’d really make a difference. Posing for an international photo-op with people who look lighter/darker/take your pick, and pretending to care about something/anything/fill in the blank, will undoubtably go a long way towards making low information voters here feel better. As for the visiting politicians from Africa, it will serve only to solidify their intelligence services’ already accurate assessment of Biden’s worsening senility. For every leftist here saying “good,” there are hundreds of pragmatists around the globe asking “why?” Most obviously, none of the African leaders at the photo-op were enslaved by Democrats in the US during the pre-1860s. Biden’s continuation of Obama’s apology tour is as irrelevant as anything he’s done. And may God bless the USA.

Knew there was something I forgot above... It was the BRITISH Crown who used the American Colonies as the dumping ground for ne'erdowells, ex-cons, street urchins, and prostitutes from the streets of London, or towns of Northern Ireland. They dumped Tens of Thousands of Irish Catholic men and boys in New England where they were given FREE to slavers who would literally work them to death building canals and railways around the northeast. Once the United States won their cherished FREEDOM is when the British went to Australia (1788) to establish their new dumping ground for the London's miscreants, and of course, the Irish. The USA would go on to whitewash its British Penal Colony history, but Australia would never erase it from hers.

Excuse me, Joe. If we are going back to the original sin of slavery you have to look at the Africans who sold their people into slavery. They captured them and sold them to the slave ships. I am not absolving the slave trade or condoning it but you have to be truthful about what was going on in the world’s history. Slaves were a commodity, which was wrong but every nation had slaves. It was the culture of the times. Africans had other Africans as slaves. The Chinese, Romans, Europeans, South Americans, Asians, every group on this planet kept slaves of every color and religion. Many times they were the spoils of war. So let’s be clear slavery was not this country’s original sin. It was not good. Enslaving people is never good, but we were not the first to own slaves, however, we were the first to fight a civil war to free them. Almost a half-million people died to achieve that. If democrats truly hate slavery they would denounce the slave trade that is going on right here in our country enabled by Joe’s open border policy. More importantly, there is a thriving slave trade in Africa. Do we ever hear about that? Nah, we are too focused on denigrating this country although it abolished slavery in 1865. We need balance on this issue. The good that was done to abolish it is hardly ever mentioned but the fact that slaves were traded here is a topic that is hammered home daily.

So much so like his former boss the Odiot he apologizes to African leaders who have their own histories of slavery and genocide. What's even more ridiculous and pathetic is the Rwandan president mocked the Jotato in front of laughing crowd. He who's own country had its fair share of slavery and genocide (Hotel Rwanda ring a bell). Also, that 55 billion of taxpayer money will wind up in offshore accounts of African nation rulers like Rwanda and The Big Guy. You can bank on that. Pun intended.

What a pandering old fool is this pResident! He merely spouts aloud what his Puppetmasters put on the teleprompter. Hat tip to #5 that sent me on an early a.m. search. America's original sin was pride. Since Cain killed Abel, men have hated each other because of ''I Am Bigger Than You and I Am Taking Your Stuff.'' Men turned their backs to a loving God-Creator. Confirmed it by School District of Abington Township, Pennsylvania v. Schempp (1963), then Roe v. Wade (1973) and finally POTUS 44 declared that America is not a Christian nation. WTP by our elected ''officials'' cancelled God, our hope and protection. Agnostics and liberals are a small minority of the population, yet they are the loudest wheel getting the most grease.

Every day is a new outrage and a new insult to America and it's history. Another poster mentions that the Judaeo/Christian bible doesn't mention slavery pro or con ... but the Koran does! And it says it's okay to not only enslave those who refuse Islam but it's also okay to to do it to other conquered Muslims who follow the wrong descendant of Muhammad. The slaves were rounded up and brought to the coast to get rid of them and make money (gold). The mainly Dutch/British buyers of slaves took most of them to Latin America (mainly Brazil) and the Caribbean (Jamaica, Cuba, etc.) ... not the American colonies. And who --- pray tell --- used slaves the most in the colonies? Why future Democrats! After the war, all Jim Crow laws and "separate but equal" crap was perpetrated by Dems ... not Republicans.

Few African nations were sources of slaves to America. That's all bullshtuff, like Oprah being a Zulu princess. FTA: Biden's outreach attempt was seen by many as a way of limiting the power of China, which has invested more in Africa than any other nation.... Chinese trade with Africa is about four times that of the United States, and Beijing has become an important creditor by offering cheaper loans - often with opaque terms and collateral requirements - than Western lenders.  This is the key, but $55 billion is far too much. $50 billion is destined for wallets. The US figures it can buy more directly...

Joey, aka, "dementia" Biden talks about the "unimaginable cruelty' of slavery. This from a man whose best friend was a member of the KKK. Slavery, something that still exists today in Africa. Slavery, something that was not only legal but was started in Africa. Blacks captured, enslaved and sold their own people into slavery. Slavery, something that started over a hundred years before the United States was founded. Today, what has Africa ever done or accomplished besides genocide and driving whites out of their countries. And who are committing most of the hate crimes and other violent crimes in our country. And who have destroyed every major city in our country. SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, can't talk about it..

Less than 400 thousand sent to what is now the USA (3% of total; 4% of mid Atlantic survivors) Muslim traders sent 28 million to mid East (and continued) 40 million total - 1% in US. We made it illegal more than 150 years ago. Get over it. No slaves alive. No slave owners alive. None have been alive for a generation or two. Who asks the Brits to apologize for their abuse of the colonies and all Americans? We had to win a war to toss them out. And guess what???? With the House being controlled by the Republicans, and the Senate controlled by the Demon-Rats, they could actually accomplish one good thing working together. That is stopping this insane abuse of presidential power. No president of either party should be able to create laws, do away with laws, or spend taxpayer money, by the simple signing of a "presidential decree". Those things are Constitutionally mandated to Congress, not the president!!!! Presidents of both parties have been abusing this more and more over the last couple of decades. But Ovomit and Senile Joe bidet have taken it to the extreme -- wielding this power like dictators!!!! It's time for Congress to grow a spine and take this abuse of power away from bidet and all future presidents!!!!!

Most Americans today, including President vegetable, were no where near this country when slavery was extant. And by the way, most of these former slaves would be sitting in front of mud huts in Africa swatting flies away from their dirty asses if they hadn't been 'enslaved' to America, where they now, apparently, are in Congress making pubic policy. We are run by the 80 I.Q. blacks we imported. "If I'd known it was going to turn out like this, I'd 'a'picked the cotton mahself.!!

#29, you have fallen into the "generalization" trap of thinking that slavery was the only thing Confederates fought for. In doing so, you are presenting info that is a broadly spread lie that you would probably actually enjoy finding out more so you can see how mush educators have lied to you. Many Confederates did not fight for slavery, own slave, or condone slavery, they were fighting against an invasion from the northern states who demanded the south stay in the union because the tariffs from the cotton exports was a very large item financing the country. I will not defend the Democrats who are currently working to enslave the everyday citizen of the United States.

It should be the ARABS giving reparations, not the USA. Or how about the descendants of the tribes who sold their fellow blacks to the Arabs who then trafficked them to the world? Does Biden really think that money will go to the populace after he gives it to the corrupted leaders of those nations?

The Grand Hypocrite ,FJB, is the descendant of an English slaver owner. He has a long record, in print, of schmoozing the Hill's pro-slavery cabal-such as the KKK's Grand Kugel himself, Bobby Bird. He's also boasted consistently of Delaware's history as a slave state. Like many with a monstrous , hateful, sinister self==which needs hiding--such as that of a vicious, corrupt , braying racist, he simply follows the lead of Jean-Fraud Kerry and dishonestly re-invents himself ....as 'Honest Joe Irish Catholic ' .... to deceive for political gain. A pox on all his sinful house.

You don't apologize for me for anything, especially for slavery. We taxpayers here in the United States have been paying trillions of dollars to blacks for decades in the form of welfare, free housing, free food, free education, preferential treatment in hiring, college entrance, etc., etc. Africa can have them back. I am willing to pay for one-way tickets to Africa with the promise to never return and our borders permanently closed to them.

#1, you may want to add to your excellent comments, that chieftains caged their own people and had them brought them down to the slave ships! It was the greed for the bead that did the deed! That said, Arabian ships trolled along European coasts. Whenever they spotted a fire or a lot of smoke they investigated. Women, men and children who were not able to outrun a fight between Euro tribes were grabbed by the Arabians and taken to their respective country, where they worked, until they died, were raped and resold, ditto children. Let's face it Jake Sullivan's lies had to be made palatable to the bidet, so he feels a ton of money will do the trick!

A red faced U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) admitted Thursday its staff “unintentionally deleted files” in a key computer system causing the January 11 commercial airline ground stop, which affected more than 11,000 flights and caused mayhem for travelers. Reuters reports the FAA said the human error occurred while personnel were working “to correct synchronisation between the live primary database and a backup database”, and it had “so far found no evidence of a cyber attack or malicious intent.” The system outage occurred on January 10, but the ground stop was not issued until the following morning by which time countless flights were already being grounded

A federal judge has ordered former President Donald J. Trump and his lawyer to pay nearly $1 million in sanctions to cover legal costs for failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and other defendants in a failed lawsuit against them for promoting the Russia collusion hoax. On Thursday night, US District Judge Donald Middlebrooks tore into Trump and attorney Alina Habba in a blistering 46-page filing that, in addition to blasting them for abusing the courts, ordered that the $938,000 financial penalty be paid. “This case should never have been brought,” wrote the Bill Clinton appointee. “Its inadequacy as a legal claim was evident from the start
