For years, our federal government has quietly operated a protect-Biden racket. The public, however, has only recently — and haphazardly — learned of the lengths federal law enforcement officials and government employees have gone to safeguard the Biden family secrets. Here are eight times our government squelched scandals.

Over the past two years of his presidency, Joe Biden has completely reshaped American foreign policy in the Middle East — and the consequences have been predictably dreadful.
On Friday, Chinese dictator Xi Jinping and Saudi Arabia’s crown prince and de-facto leader Mohammed bin Salman signed a series of economic agreements totaling $50 billion, marking a major step in the countries’ growing relations.
According to a joint statement released after Xi’s multi-day visit to the kingdom, the two countries have agreed to enhance collaboration on a wide range of issues vital to their respective economic and security interests, including energy, trade, and terrorism, among others.

Yes, the headline isn’t really fair to Thom Tillis, the North Carolina Republican senator who wasn’t on the ballot in last month’s midterms. You’ll forgive the unfairness, perhaps.
But life isn’t fair. And honestly, Tillis’ lame-duck-session amnesty gambit is deserving of much worse than the headline above. Here’s Stephen Kruiser at PJ Media:
One of the more frustrating aspects of being a conservative Republican is the constant need to look over one’s shoulder for stealth attacks by moderate squish members of the GOP on important issues like health care, gun control, and amnesty for illegal immigrants. Such ideological shivs in the back always arrive under the execrable guise of bipartisanship.

The political branding and campaign team behind Florida Governor Ron DeSantis have structured a “Win with Ron 2024” strategy constructed around the politicization of the COVID-19 vaccine. Yesterday, the team launched the effort through the governor’s office [Details Here].
The polarizing federal vaccine and mask mandates continue to create an opportunity for exploitation by political interests. The WWR ’24 team see the opportunity within the republican base for Ron DeSantis to create a 2024 lane by presenting himself in alignment with medical autonomy in a similar vein that a candidate might create with strong support for the second amendment.

House Democrats have returned to their old ‘deem as passed’ playbook to provide a vehicle for the Senate to construct another stopgap omnibus spending bill despite the legally required non-origination from the House.
WASHINGTON DC – The House is expected to pass a stopgap spending bill Wednesday night that would give negotiators an extra week to finish a $1.7 trillion year-end spending package, setting up an all-out legislative sprint before lawmakers leave for the holidays. (more)

Olena Zelenska, wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, traveled to Paris France for a three-day visit December 12-14. As reported by Le Monde, “Members of the Ukrainian government will also come, including Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, and several ministers in charge of reconstruction, including Yulia Svyrydenko (economy), Oleksandr Kubrakov (infrastructure) and German Galushchenko (energy).”
However, social media has erupted today after a “reliable store clerk” working on the ritzy Avenue Montaigne, has reported that Olena Zelenska went on a Christmas shopping spree spending €40,000 euros in an hour. We have newly unsealed documents – including the depositions of Ghislaine Maxwell and one of her victims – revealing new details on the extent of the abuse and victimization that took place by Jeffrey Epstein. Those filings come from Giuffre v. Maxwell, a civil case filed against Maxwell in 2015 in the New York Southern District.
Some of the broader allegations have already been made public. Sarah Ransome, who accused Epstein and Maxwell of abuse that took place during her early 20s, settled a civil lawsuit against them in 2018. Ransome has publicly described some of the abuse. And there have been reports on what transpired at Little St. James, often

Sam Bankman-Fried, the owner of the failed cryptocurrency exchange FTX, has been denied bail after his arrest in the Bahamas at the request of the U.S. government on Monday.
In a hearing that lasted more than three hours on Tuesday, Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt ruled that Bankman-Fried’s $250,000 bail request would be denied on the basis that Bankman-Fried poses a flight risk because of his access to financial resources.
The judge ordered the 30-year-old to be remanded to a Bahamas correctional facility until Feb. 8, 2023.

A coalition of 15 Republican state attorneys general sent letters to executives at Apple and Google on Tuesday demanding the tech companies correct their age ratings for the Beijing-based video app TikTok.
The app, which has been likened to “digital fentanyl” by congressional lawmakers for its addictive qualities as it afflicts users with harmful content, is currently advertised to users 12 and up on the Apple App Store and 13 and up on the Google Play Store. The attorneys general demand that both tech companies change their ratings to 17-plus for “mature” audiences.

Jimmy Kimmel's attack on Elon Musk was about as unfunny as one would expect.
Kimmel said, "Elon Musk seems to be intent on filling the troll hole vacated by Donald Trump. Because yesterday, he wrote ‘My pronouns are Prosecute and Fauci.’ (snip)
Well, when it comes to terrible jokes, Kimmel is an expert.
That pronoun thing is such "small-minded, lowest-common denominator garbage" that Kimmel indilged in it.
But there is a mustard seed of truth in his statement. Musk has replaced Trump as a surrogate for real Americans who are tired of being screwed by the federal government and mocked by the media. He is not a conservative.
