The head of Twitter’s censorship scheme to shadowban conservative accounts and posts across the platform previously worked as an operative for the FBI and CIA.
According to a now-unavailable LinkedIn profile (snip), Jeff Carlton, whose prior work included serving as a federal intelligence officer, became the leading member of Twitter’s Strategic Response Team (SRT) last month. As revealed in a batch of “Twitter Files” released by reporter Bari Weiss on Thursday, SRT is one of the main groups at Twitter tasked with shadowbanning conservative accounts and tweets on the platform.
In his LinkedIn profile, Carlton states that his role as SRT head involves “resolving the highest-profile Trust & Safety escalations,”

When a repressive government works hand in hand with a corporate entity to dominate the people, there's a name for that. Everyone except the Evil Left knows it as Fascism. The EL considers as Fascism: well-meaning, patriotic Americans, united and trying to reclaim Liberty and self-governance. BTW, Jack Ryan was 'former' CIA.

The deck was clearly stacked against Republicans, and it was all intentional.
Doubtful the DNC folks weren't aware either.
Judges and lawyers now also know, so they can't plead ignorance anymore.
Trust one of the reasons Elon is doing this is to protect himself, and the company he bought, from what is likely many lawsuits against the people who were at Twitter, who violated corporate governance documents, and violated people's civil rights.
Remember, they were resisting to advise how many bots were on their platform. Likely due to what's being divulged as what was going on internally.
Generally, when you aren't willing to say what you did publicly, or to your family members, you likely are doing something that's not Ethical, and wrong.

I thought that the CIA was prohibited by law from any operations on US domestic soil? Who is to say this guy really was a former employee of the CIA? If we learned one thing from the Bush family's long time involvement with the CIA, like the mob, nobody ever really leaves.

Poster #2 - Yes, Obama as the main instigator along with his dunce sidekick. Shortly followed by Schumer, Mitch, Nancy, AGs, etc. ....and the cast of 100s in the 3-letter agencies. All complicit and corrupt. Hence the last 6 years of smoke, mirrors, investigations and impeachments.
Roll on Elon! Thank you for drawing back the proverbial curtain.
Thank you Don - you said the swamp existed and was deeper than you thought. Sadly, at the time, I couldn't fathom the magnitude.

Our federal agencies are no better than the brown shirts of the hitler era...the entrenched house and senate have for years been paid off by corporate big shots and then china came in...their goal to drive America to her knees and when President Trump won 2016...they had to install their "insurance policy" and WE the people had to endure the Russia...russia...russia hoax...two years later...they tried the ukraine...ukraine...ukraine hoax...and now with the help of a prosecutor from the Haig ...they are hoping for a crimes against humanity charge...it never ends...but the people are on to them now...and with Elon musk's help...WE see the light...

I doubt that he was "FORMER" FBI -CIA... I ifeel safe to assume that it was just a new undercover assignment for him, as it was for Baker.

#7 asks, "Why do people use this stuff?"
If by "stuff," #7 means "Twitter," we've all seen a dramatic increase in the use of Twitter posts for the juvenile "journalists" to write most of their political (and other) articles. We have to read the same paragraph twice on many of these online and printed articles because the "journalists" lift the Twitter tweet out and print it in their own articles verbatim, then they post the tweet that they just quoted.
If the dems can fabricate enough tweets and likes, those items make it into the news. The "journalists" don't need to interview a person in government to obtain their opinion, nor do they need to receive a secret scoop. It's right there on twitter and the lazy "journalists" just copy it as their "source." But if Twitter can censor and cancel opposing viewpoints, the news winds up writing only articles favorable to the left, with no contrary opinion or tweet seeing the light of day.
It's news manipulation. Propaganda.
