A 40-year-old Florida man was arrested Thursday as he allegedly tried to rob a Walmart in which nearly 40 sheriff’s deputies were present for “shop with a cop" day. (Snip) Seriously we just can’t make this up. Brad decided to steal from our good neighbors and partners at Walmart in St. Cloud while we were conducting the Shop With a Cop event with the children of our community. Bad news, Brad! The store was full of deputies, almost 40, beside the forensics team, the community services team, the CSOs, the OCSO Majors, and Sheriff Marcos R. Lopez. Bad idea, Brad.

So unfair...the perp should sue Walmart for not warning him. Can't have the Walmart greeter do it. They might only warn select groups and that would be profiling. Can't put up a sign at the front of the store because the perp might be illiterate. Perhaps a warning over the public announce system, but it would have to be done every minute, and the perp ignore it anyway. Just impossible to help some people these days.

More BS from the former royals. Meghan Markle and her hubby made a Netflix movie about their life of victimhood. The elitist multimillionaires explain in the film how the paparazzi is making their life hell. They even include a photo of the paparazzi hounding them at an event. Except the image is not from any event they ever attended. It was from a Harry Potter premiere. But they’re still victims. Please don’t forget that. The New York Post reported: An image apparently meant to show Prince Harry and Meghan Markle being hounded by paparazzi in their new Netflix docuseries

A Protect the Children Rally was held in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday. Featured speakers included Conservative Ant and Jordan Toste of Gays Against Groomers, Elon Gerberg of Florida Fathers for Freedom and Eulalia Jimenez from Moms for Liberty Miami. The focus of the rally was to protest against a radicalized sexual curriculum, gender ideology, child grooming, parental alienation, and ‘gender-affirming care’ in schools. Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis got into a heated conversation with rally attendees. One attendee told Trantalis, “That’s my decision as a parent…that’s your prerogative for your children…but I don’t drop off my kid to school to learn that. Michael Avenatti was sentenced to 14 years in prison on Monday for cheating four former clients out of millions of dollars and trying to obstruct the IRS from collecting payroll taxes from a coffee shop that he owned. It caps off a stunning fall from grace for the former attorney, who is already serving five years in prison for stealing book proceeds from porn actress Stormy Daniels and trying to extort Nike out of $25 million. The 14-year sentence handed down on Monday will run consecutively to the five years that he is already serving in previous cases, U.S. District Judge James V. Selna ruled.

Back in July, a seemingly desperate President Joe Biden traveled to Saudi Arabia on a high-stakes trip where he met the Saudi Royal family, including the controversial Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The president took a lot of heat for the trip for several reasons, including his scheduled meetup with the crown prince, who had previously signed off on the murder of WaPo journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Biden was also criticized for appearing to use the trip to request help from a foreign nation on the oil production front, though the White House denied that was the case. However, in a bombshell revelation this week, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.),

The Left is Using Lawfare Including Threats

We are living in an unprecedented era, where the left has now mastered voter disenfranchisement and suppression, largely by controlling the legal system where statutory violations and crimes normally would be stopped. Instead, the left comes up with excuses to explain away every anomaly, even though the statistical odds of all of them taking place — almost exclusively hurting Republicans — are unbelievable. Of the 70-plus vote centers in Maricopa County that were plagued by bizarre printing problems affecting people’s ability to vote, almost every one was located in an extremely Republican area, averaging more than 300 percent more Republicans than Democrats.

Virginia has a famous Republican Governor, Glenn Youngkin, who has made his opposition to arbitrary COVID-19 mandates clear. But his predecessor, Democrat Governor Ralph Northam, although out of office for ten months, apparently still calls the shots at the Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control Board. He does so through board members he appointed. Indeed, every one of them, including Board Chair Maria J. K. Everett and Board CEO Travis Hill, are rogue agents bent on enforcing Northam’s infamous Executive Order 72 even after it was withdrawn in May of 2021. For the current members of the Virginia ABC Board, elections appear to be irrelevant.

If you’ve ever been to a Donald Trump rally, you know what I’m talking about. The excitement, the electricity, the palpable energy in the crowd. It’s almost like a much-anticipated music concert, only with political speeches instead of singing. Some might think that would make it less entertaining, but if you agree with what’s being said that’s not the case at all. As speaker after speaker builds momentum and the ultimate headliner comes on to uproarious standing applause, it’s hard not to look around at everyone around you, the tens of thousands of red or blue-clad ordinary Americans,

They see glimpses of the future if things proceed as they currently are—and they are very afraid. They should be.

Still, taking what we have already learned at face value, some former Twitter executives have quite a bit to answer for. While Jack Dorsey was CEO at the time, the communications released by Musk indicate he did not have a role in significant censorship decisions. Perhaps this was to maintain plausible deniability,

Some New York lawmakers are renewing the push for a state law that would lay the groundwork to pay reparations to black residents whose ancestors were enslaved. Proponents gained steam after a task force in California last week recommended that the Golden State shell out $569 billion in reparations to slaves’ descendents there, or $223,200 apiece, because of lingering housing discrimination practices. A previously proposed New York measure called for creating a commission to study the impact of slavery and providing reparations but failed to pass the legislature. It is now being revised, backers said.

Mitt Romney (R-UT) and Susan Collins (R-ME) appear averse to holding Mayorkas accountable for the southern border invasion. “Someone has to commit a high crime or misdemeanor for that to be a valid inquiry,” Romney told Politico about impeachment standards. “I haven’t seen any accusation of that nature whatsoever.”

Reports surfaced two weeks ago that Florida Republicans are considering changing the state’s “resign-to-run” law so Governor Ron DeSantis could throw his hat in the ring for the 2024 presidential nomination without losing his governorship. It is one sign among many that DeSantis, or those close to him, are thinking about taking on Donald Trump in the primary. A word of warning and wisdom to DeSantis: Don’t do it. DeSantis is a promising politician with a real future on the national scene. He should want to be president. But not yet. DeSantis needs to understand his true self-interest. Running for president in 2024 isn’t it.

Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) won reelection Tuesday, fending off a spirited challenge from Republican Herschel Walker while helping Democrats grow their thin Senate majority in the midterm elections after a bruising four-week runoff campaign. Warnock was leading Walker 50.4% to 49.6% when the race was called, earning the senator his first, full six-year term after ousting an appointed Republican incumbent in a special election runoff nearly two years ago. Walker’s defeat was a major blow to the Republicans. They capped a disappointing midterm election season with yet another loss that effectively surrendered a Senate seat to the Democrats, who saw their majority grow from 50 to 51.

Er … no, not really. Nor do I think for a moment that we will need to prepare for it, either. Bolton kinda-sorta threw his hat in the ring yesterday, or more accurately, announced that he would consider tossing his hat in the ring, yada yada yada. Bolton wants to goad other Republicans into fighting Trump now over his remarks about “terminating” the Constitution, while at the same time misrepresenting what’s actually happening among GOP elected officials:

New York is poised to become the sixth state to legalize ‘human composting’ — which sees people turned into soil. For $7,000, bodies are decomposed in 'coffins' for two months before the resulting soil is handed to loved ones to sprinkle over rose patches, trees or a nature reserve. It has already been legalized in California, Colorado, Oregon, Vermont and Washington, with more than 200 Americans opting for the process to date. And the latest eco-craze is surging in popularity with the center pioneering human composting — Recompose — tripling in size in just two years. They now have 1,200 people on the ‘waiting’ list.
