Who visits the White House with the first thought about how to steal its property? Seems celebrity-star Chrissy Teigen had that thought, and decided to share it with all her millions of adoring followers on Instagram. It's buried within a gushy Parade magazine story about the dress Teigen wore to this week's White House state dinner for France's president, Emmanuel Macron: Teigen shared some shots from the night on her Instagram, writing: "The State Dinner! Being in the White House will never not be extremely exciting. Secret Service! Tiny things you want to steal but don’t because you want to be invited back! Sitting next to the secretary of defense Lloyd Austin

Comments:

The only fear preventing her from lining her pockets with the silver settings was the prospect of not being invited back.

This tramp also was a guest during the reign of zero. On seeing zero dance, she gushed, (paraphrasing), 'When I saw President Obama gettin' down, it brought a tear to my eye.' I wish I could forget ever hearing that.

Teigen is the lowlife married to performer John Legend. They were part of the lowlife pack of “celebrities” the Obamas brought to the WH. This is interesting because the Macron state dinner was held in a huge tent on the WH lawn. It has been reported that none of the WH china and silver is permitted to be used outside the WH so there were no real “souvenirs” available to the likes of sticky-fingered Teigen.

No need to "Steal" anything if you get to go there, the invitation alone is a rare souvenir, there are also cocktail napkins, candies, cookies, crackers, nuts, name/place cards, badges, matches....even nail clippers, pocket knives.... All handed out, set out, for just that purpose. I have a bunch of that "Stuff" from the Whitehouse, AF1, Camp David...one of my zippo lighters from camp david is a "Daily Carry" item. The other ones from the Whitehouse and AF1 are much more rare and remain unused, saved in a box. (I have heard though that matches/lighters are no longer made/used...that doing so would encourage/endorse "Evil Smoking")

Does it take ace investigative skills and high-tech expertise to tell Twitter which posts to censor and which accounts to ban? That's the underside of the Twitter Files, Part Six story from Matt Taibbi, about the FBI expending a lot of agents and a lot of time reading and seeking censorship of tweets and accounts, which was described well by Rajan Laad in his post today here. According to Taibbi, these files revealed that the FBI had a "master-canine" relationship with Twitter, telling it which posts to censor and which accounts to take "action" on, and like dogs, the Twitter executives jumped to it.

Team Trump has sometimes compared former President Donald Trump's current quest for a non-sequential second term to two-term President Grover Cleveland's similar three election bids. Cleveland remains our only elected president (1884) to have lost a reelection bid (1888) -- in a disputed vote -- only to be reelected four years later in 1892. Yet Trump seems determined instead to follow a different, and bullheaded, Teddy Roosevelt model. Roosevelt left the presidency in 1908, sat out four years, and then lost a reelection bid in 1912, split and alienated the Republican Party, and ensured the election of the progressive Woodrow Wilson.

It's no secret that Joe Biden's open borders has fattened Mexico's notorious cartels with profits from the human trafficking and "crossing fees" from illegal migrants. According to an ICE official, cited here, they "earn" between $2 billion and $6 billion a year from border crossing "fees" alone. More illegal migrants, more fees for the cartels. And that rolling cash does and will have knock-on effects, starting from the increased violence in Mexico to its spillover effect from Mexico to the states. But now we're seeing a funny turn in events that raises natural questions about a connection as well as just how well U.S. prisons are run:

The question in the title needs, I believe, critical examination. Why DOES the Left hate Trump so much? The answer, as usual, can largely be found by analyzing history. But first. Do they hate him because the average price of a gallon of gas in his administration was far lower than under Biden? Is it because inflation was low (around 2%) and trending downward? Is it that the USA was energy independent and didn’t need to beg our enemies for oil, deplete our strategic oil reserve or sell it to China? Is it because black and Hispanic unemployment was lower than at any time in history?

Add yet another government overreach to the “Things You Didn’t Think Could Happen in America” file: Democrats on the lame-duck House and Ways and Means Committee voted Tuesday to release six years of former President Donald Trump’s tax returns. Why? Because they um, uh—because they want to? But wait, you say to yourself, that’s not possible; your tax returns are private by federal law, and therefore protected from release. The Dems of course found a sleazy way around that. The tax code allows the committee to look at people’s tax returns to provide “oversight” of the Internal Revenue Service, and by writing an official report on their findings,
