James Clyburn, the No. 3 US House Democrat credited with boosting Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign, said the president called him Thursday to say he was recommending that South Carolina replace Iowa as the first nominating contest. (Snip) “He called me yesterday, before the dinner and he told me that’s what his decision was and I thanked him. And I told him I would see him later on in the evening and that was it. I was surprised,” Clyburn said in an interview Friday. The Democratic National Committee later released a letter, dated Thursday, that Biden sent to its Rules and

Old Joe now demands the first primary be South Carolina, where black voters dominate the Democrat primary and Clyburn is Kingmaker.

If the racial tables were turned in the Democratic primary and the president interfered to give potential White voters a hand up we would not hear the end of the racial discrimination claims.

It’s also the state most likely to vote for Nikki Haley over Trump in the presidential primary. Are the Democrats and media trying to select our losing candidate again, like McCain and Romney? Who knows?

More Diversity? Biden really means BLACK votes! If there were a state run by the LGBTQ community I'm pretty sure that they would be on the list to be one of the first primary states so there would be more of an LGBTQ voice. Just another way for Democrats to buy votes of the gullible.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Policymakers for the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality on Monday approved a rule that prohibits the sale of new gasoline-powered passenger vehicles in Oregon by 2035. The effort comes as Oregon plans to cut climate-warming emissions by 50% by 2035 and by 90% by 2050, The Oregonian/OregonLive reported. The transportation sector accounts for nearly 40% of greenhouse gas emissions in Oregon. (Snip) The new rule also requires manufacturers to increase access to affordable zero-emission vehicles to low-income households and communities of color. CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico/WASHINGTON - When Vladimir Castellanos learned that COVID-19 restrictions blocking him and other migrants from claiming asylum at the U.S. border with Mexico may not be terminated this week, he said he felt deceived. Castellanos and his brother are Venezuelans, and they were among dozens of migrants gathered on both sides of the Rio Grande on Monday night in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, and El Paso, Texas, with some lighting small fires to keep warm as temperatures dropped toward freezing. They had traveled there in anticipation that the COVID-19 restrictions, known as Title 42, would be lifted on Wednesday

There is an endless list of factors students consider while choosing a college: size, cost, campus life, proximity to home. But since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June — removing nearly 50 years of federal protections for abortions and giving states the right to make the procedure illegal within their jurisdictions — abortion access has become an increasingly influential consideration in students’ college decisions. Of those planning to enroll in an undergraduate program sometime in the next 12 months, 39% said that the court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade will affect their decision to attend

NEW YORK -- There are new fears that New York City could be hit with a surge of migrants. This week, Title 42, a policy that has kept many asylum seekers from entering the country, is set to expire. Mayor Eric Adams is warning that there could be upwards of 1,000 migrants bused into the city each and every week, if the policy is allowed to expire. It's not clear how he arrived at that number, but it is clear that there is concern the system could be overwhelmed. The U.S.-Mexico border has been packed with migrants desperate to get in.

No, McConnell said that "providing assistance for Ukrainians to defeat the Russians is the number one priority for the United States right now, according to most Republicans." Really?

The question in the title needs, I believe, critical examination. Why DOES the Left hate Trump so much? The answer, as usual, can largely be found by analyzing history. But first. Do they hate him because the average price of a gallon of gas in his administration was far lower than under Biden? Is it because inflation was low (around 2%) and trending downward? Is it that the USA was energy independent and didn’t need to beg our enemies for oil, deplete our strategic oil reserve or sell it to China? Is it because black and Hispanic unemployment was lower than at any time in history?

Add yet another government overreach to the “Things You Didn’t Think Could Happen in America” file: Democrats on the lame-duck House and Ways and Means Committee voted Tuesday to release six years of former President Donald Trump’s tax returns. Why? Because they um, uh—because they want to? But wait, you say to yourself, that’s not possible; your tax returns are private by federal law, and therefore protected from release. The Dems of course found a sleazy way around that. The tax code allows the committee to look at people’s tax returns to provide “oversight” of the Internal Revenue Service, and by writing an official report on their findings,
