Iranian journalists hijacked a World Cup press conference today to ask US players how they felt about 'representing a racist country' - before berating them for pronouncing the name of their country wrong. U.S. coach Gregg Berhalter and his captain Tyler Adams faced a barrage of politically-charged questions from reporters from Iran who seemingly had no interest in discussing the match set to take place in Qatar's Al Thumama stadium tomorrow night. Instead, the pair were intensely quizzed on systemic racism in America, strict U.S. visa rules in place against Iranian citizens and Uncle Sam's naval presence fleet

Aren't you Camel-Jockeys at least happy with Barack Obama and John Kerry for returning $4B in gold and currency to your corrupt religious rulers? My response to this scurn would have been, "Actually, I pronounce it, 'Persia'." Again, here we go with "Racism" as #1 of the "Severn Deadly Sins" (of a liberal). We find nary a peep about any sin of "racism" in our Bible, but perhaps it's in the Quran, somewhere in between all the calls to murder innocent infidels? And what about Equality under the Law in Iran? Jews must pay double taxes, and suffer other indignities, like occasional murder, that goes uninvestigated. Women's rights? Hah!

CNN This Moring co-host Don Lemon travelled over to CBS and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday to promote the show and insist that “I don’t think we were liberal” when speaking about the pre-Chris Licht era. Colbert asked about changes to the network under Licht, “The word on the street is you guys aren't allowed to be liberal anymore? Is that the case?” (Video) Lemon laughably argued that, “I don't think we ever were liberal.” After a somewhat surprised Colbert replied with a simple “What?,” Lemon doubled down, “Yes, I don't think we ever were liberal.” Not only was CNN liberal, it still is, but trying to get Lemon to expand

Oakland, California, is set to give adult residents vouchers to donate to candidates for local office every other year, according to The San Francisco Chronicle. Nearly 74% of the city’s voters approved Measure W, mandating that the city biannually send four $25 dollar vouchers to residents 18 years of age and older for donations to mayoral, City Council or school board candidates, the outlet reported. The program will be paid for with city general funds and include legal permanent residents who lack U.S. citizenship. Seattle enacted a similar program in 2017, and University of Washington research showed a rise in candidates for local office

Now that the GOP has gained a House majority, Kevin McCarthy has a real opportunity to rise to the occasion. Although it wasn’t the midterm election result McCarthy wanted, by winning the House of Representatives the Republican Party has a seat at the governing table. The 55th speaker of the House is in a position to set policies and priorities in contrast to Joe Biden, and in the process make the case that a Republican belongs back in the White House in 2024. Doing so means that McCarthy and his lieutenants will have to demonstrate they understand the value of playing the long game. Even in a complicated political environment,

He has called for bans on oil and gas exports and even suggested a mandate that diesel stocks be maintained at a higher level. But a new report from the Institute for Energy Research addresses the actual root of these problems. What we’re facing is a significant
