At the Federalist, Jordan Boyd offers up a proposed agenda for the new House of Representatives. The Republicans have won a majority. How great is still to be determined. Officially the count is 218, but Lauren Boebert’s opposition, Adam Frisch, conceded. If the certification matches the ballot count that would make the total 219, and they are still counting two districts in California in which the Republican candidates are leading so the count may be as high as 221.Certification of results in at least one county in Arizona are being held up pending examination of the voting machines, and other counties may follow.

As deeply as we desire justice from those fraud & destructive perpetrators, we can foresee the process becoming the next chapter of congressional 'ME' appearances to line their own re-election ads & more dedicated to making a name for the representatives than taking the criminals to the woodshed. Assign a dedicated legal team and put them down to stay.

What is wrong with those people???? Can't they see our Republic is going down fast!!! I don't like McCarthy. He is weak and just wants to be one of the crowd. I want to see Republicans who have a backbone like Jim Jordan and Rand Paul. Otherwise, nothing will change. They all are on the take for money and power. It stinks!

At least McConnell was out in the open with his schemes. McCarthy thought he could by pass scrutiny because of all the flack being thrown around looking for some else to blame for the election fiasco. Enter the two guys in Rush's time slot and their super secret full of twist and turns conspiracy by dem dark money all pointed to ...you guessed it Trumps fault.

The good guys in the House like Jordan and Stefanik should consult with Gingrich on how to take over by dumping McCarthy. I never liked that guy. He was too “pretty” and smooth and more concerned with his hair. He talks a good game, but I don’t believe anything he says. I fear that the House Republicans will blow this opportunity to get back at the corrupt Dems by “taking the high road”, which always leads to getting walked on later.we need a p——k to lead the House and McCarthy ain’t it.

Why did the Pubbies have the majority leader vote behind closed doors? I fear it is more of the same. Left wing, right wing, same wing nut. Pubs are too easily bribed by the vast amounts of money thrown at them. Are we going to get the old bait and switch wherein we are promised one thing, justice and accountability but actually get nothing more than Kabuki theater? I think we all know the answer to that question. The corruption runs deep not only in the democrat party but in Republican ranks too. There are not too many men and women of integrity who actually want to take up this fight and try and beat back the corruption that is destroying our government. Far too many have a faulty moral compass and can justify anything especially when it benefits them. Republicans should make the unprecedented corruption of the political class item one on their agenda. The American people have lost faith and trust in their government because the lack of accountability. You can bet David Brooks is going to go hard to destroy the legitimacy of any investigation and we have to have individuals who will stand toe to toe and give as good as they get. Just keep pounding the facts home and never let up, never slow down and never ever quit. The American people want results or don’t even bother doing anything. We are tired of have our lunch eaten by a bunch of lawless criminals. I would say to Republicans, you wanted the job, campaigned for it, now get to work and produce some meaningful results. The country is depending on you. Man and woman up. Don’t let us down. Have the courage to honor the oath you made.

This horse dung of mail-in ballots is the best thing that ever happened to election cheaters. They find them in duffle bags , and they find them thrown away in an arroyo and they keep counting until a Democrat wins. If republicans try to stop it they are accused of not letting everyone vote. The only real election is one held on election day at the polls with ID.

The previously unimaginable has happened: The storybook island of Martha’s Vineyard, the seasonal home of billionaires and hundreds of elite cultural and political movers and shakers, not to mention one of three year-round homes of the Obamas, has finally experienced that rarity previously limited to the mainland: violent gun crime. And surprise: The alleged perpetrators are not MAGA white nationalists. Rather, evidence so far points to migrants, possibly of the illegal kind. This is a bitter pill for most Vineyard residents to swallow. The island’s six towns have all declared themselves to be sanctuary communities.

I really can’t stand Nancy Pelosi, the hypocritical fraud tossed out on her boney rear end by the American public in the last election. The soon to be former Speaker of the House, historic in that she lost the House of Representatives twice, has always been a power-mad post-digested food human exit port (I’m trying to keep it clean while being disgusted by her existence, forgive me). Lawyer to revolutionary to tyrant to butcher to victim of the forces he himself had unleashed — that was the arc of the life of Maximillian Robespierre. The architect of The Terror that engulfed France from 1792 until 1794, Robespierre may have been the first despot of the mind. Throughout history, kings and emperors and such had raged across the world, killing people for power and land and glory and to obliterate opponents. But Robespierre's elected dictatorship was the first to systematically kill people in its own territory for not thinking the right way, for not blindly following his lead

Six years out of office, and the Obamas still esteem themselves oracles of racial justice and authorities of truth concerning America’s flaws. As witnessed at the recent unveiling of the Obamas' official White House portraits, in a photo taken in the Oval Office, both Barack and Michelle are positioned shamelessly front and center. Still smarting from the reproof of 2016, the Obamas take any opportunity to publicly defame the character of the political outsider who upset the collective vision Barack hoped Hillary Clinton would set in stone – as well as the people who voted for him.

Is it just a coincidence that a slew of articles appeared in the nation's socialist media with almost the same storyline to expect delays in election results? Up until a few days ago, the nation's far left and the nation's socialist media were silent about how long it would take for the midterm results to be resolved. Then, as someone else noticed, they all published almost identical versions of the same article: "prepare to wait for election results that could take many days." Almost all of them within the same narrow timespan:

Did the United States suddenly become a socialist basket case? It’s hard not to come to that conclusion after reading about the endless shortages plaguing the nation. Each of which President Joe Biden either seems clueless to resolve or determined to make worse. Let’s start with the biggest one: the shortage of diesel fuel. While Biden was busy draining the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to tamp down gas prices before the midterm elections, the real worry was that supplies of diesel fuel have been running short. Two years after the short-lived COVID lockdowns ended, diesel inventories continued to trend downward

Democrats spent a reported $53 million boosting what Joe Biden calls “ultra-MAGA” candidates into nominations for key Senate and House races in order to protect vulnerable incumbents or open seats. On Sunday, GOP House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy made clear a trio of liberal lawmakers were on the chopping block for their assignments after the chamber took the unprecedented step of dictating minority committee appointments under Democrat rule. Georgia Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene was kicked off of her committees just a month after her congressional inauguration.
