Republican Leaders Have A Choice: Roll
Back Early Voting And Mail-In Ballots
Or Learn To Take Advantage Of Them

Original Article

Republicans apparently learned very little from the 2020 election which turned voting and vote counting into a chaotic multi-week affair, all to the great advantage of Democrats. After finding their party blown out of the water by early votes and mail-in ballots, both vastly expanded to accommodate the pandemic hysteria, elected GOP leaders seem to have thought to themselves, “Well, better luck next time!”And here we are. In an election year that should have seen major gains for Republicans across the board, the party failed to take the Senate, could still (a week after Election Day) fail to secure the House,

This is still fighting the last war. I guarantee you that liberals are already anticipating conservative moves and will have some new "ballot accumulating" strategy ready for 2024.

If you can't beat 'em - join 'em. I am not sure we have the stomach to commit fraud to the extent the Dims seemingly do routinely but we should embrace the ballot harvesting schemes until we can ban such - PERMANENTLY.

Ya mean cheat because the other side cheats big time and by doing that we will never ever have an election worth a damn? OR election day ( not season ) with paper ballots and actual accountability.

The Republican party is so over. I hope Trump announces a new party. Except for Trump, I don't think I can find my way to vote for any R. They've all become turncoats. Can't vote for a D either, so I will write in Trump's name on every ballot in every election.

As an unpaid volunteer at polling stations it's clear to me that multi-day voting aids cheating for the simple reason that volunteers are not available 24/7. After the 3rd or 4th day the number of volunteers drops and there are large gaps in time where there are no monitors. The only solution to this is to pay the monitors out of campaign cash. Mail-in ballots should only be on request for cause, and limited to 2% of the total registered voters.

#7,. that's music to the Democrat party ears, and likely counting on many more like you to help them win easier. What I'd like to see is the registration stop the same day as candidates have to file to run for office. Will enable Registrar of Voters to ensure the ballots on file are complete and accurate before ballots are mailed, or issued. Let all other registration applications be provisional to ensure they can't verify them. Next, a public announcement of how many people are registered to vote should be made no later than 30 days prior to ballots being mailed or issued. Have a number on each ballot that totals that number (keeps from having unlimited possibilities) All drop boxes should be set up with same technology as an ATM machine (existing technology), which scans the ballot, has video cameras, and only allows 1 ballot at a time to be deposited. These would be common sense things that would help tighten up chain of custody concerns.

There is not one good reason for drop boxes for votes. Voting places are open from 6:30 am until 7:30 pm. If a person cannot vote on Election Day then there is absentee ballots. Otherwise there is no reason to not vote on Election Day. Don’t need an election season! One vote per person. All the rest, as same day resignation, ballots not votes, ballot boxes , late ballot arrivals is just cheating. And that’s why the Dems push these illegal voting tactics

No more of this! They originally used "racism," especially referencing the Democrats own "Jim Crow" laws, to get election rules liberalized. They now want to adopt on-line voting ('safe' and 'secure', of course!) for anyone residing in the U.S., even Convicts in prisons. Wimpy, corrupt, Republicans are co-conspirators to this gradual take-over of the United States by these leftist Communists. We have ONE DAY in the United States of America for voting - just 24 hours, that's IT!

Tighten up the rules in States where it can be done, and then work within the rules to do what it takes. So called harvesting is not illegal if the law says you can do it. Telling voters to just vote is great as far as it goes, but there must be more.

Warnock, Democrats sue Georgia Republican

A legal battle has broken out between the Warnock campaign and the Georgia secretary of state over the early voting dates leading up to the run-off election on December 6. Democrat incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock is in a heated run-off race with Republican Herschel Walker. A problem has arisen with the dates of the early voting period. As I wrote about on Monday, the day after Thanksgiving is an official state holiday. New election integrity reforms passed in Georgia shortened the timeline for run-off races. The run-off must take place four weeks after the general election. In this case, early voting should start “as soon as possible” but has to begin

Georgia Democratic senator Raphael Warnock's ex-wife asked a court to bring Warnock in to face questions from her attorneys as part of their contentious child custody battle, according to a court notice filed last week and obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. The filing is the first sign of movement in the case since the judge in August filed a sealed temporary custody order and shows that the conflict has not been resolved out of court. Warnock's ex-wife, Oulèye Ndoye, has accused him in court filings of neglecting to see his children during his custody days and leaving her financially strapped with unpaid child care expenses.

Election Day finally arrives tomorrow, and most serious political analysts expect the Democrats to lose their majorities in both houses of Congress while incurring significant collateral damage in numerous state and local contests. There is still some uncertainty about the ultimate size of the looming wave, but there is little doubt that it will profoundly alter the political landscape. This inevitably raises the following question: Do the Democrats have the capacity to learn anything from defeat?

Unless you have obsessively followed the midterm tracking polls in an effort to divine which party will control a majority in the U.S. Senate next year, you have probably never heard of the following people: Erik Gerhardt, Jeremy Kauffman, Chase Oliver, Neil Scott, and Marc Victor. Yet, because all are Libertarian Senate candidates in states where the major party nominees are statistically tied, each has the potential to save a faltering Democrat. Nowhere is that more true than in Georgia.

Usually, the final month of a midterm election is a hectic one for the president of the United States. Barack Obama, for instance, made 22 campaign-related trips in October 2010 in a futile effort to stem losses in his first midterm election — Democrats lost 63 House seats and control of the chamber.President Joe Biden, in comparison, made just eight last month and has little on his schedule for the final week of campaigning. The problem: Next to nobody wants Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris to appear on stage with them. “Of the 14 states with some of the most competitive Senate and governor races,

Look past the topline number on this latest — and presumably final — generic ballot poll from the Wall Street Journal, which may not look terribly spectacular at the moment. An R+2 barely even pops in this field, coming in under the RCP average lead of 2.8 points for the GOP.Keep two other points in mind. Who’s leading in enthusiasm? And what do respondents think about the direction of the country and economy? That, and one other related issue, makes this a fairly significant entry into the midterm red-wave sweepstakes: Voters are giving Republicans a late boost in support just ahead of the midterm elections, as pessimism about the economy

Eleven years ago, Texas Gov. Rick Perry destroyed his bid for the presidency when he said in a debate that he had three examples of something and then could only remember two. That’s all it took — and rightly so. Debates afford voters a rare chance to see politicians under pressure having to think on their feet and respond to unexpected events. I’ve never seen anything like the Pennsylvania Senate debate between John Fetterman and Mehmet Oz on Tuesday night, and I hope never to have to see anything like it ever again. It was horrible. When the likely future Speaker of the House absentmindedly mused about his conference’s willingness to cut off America’s support for Ukraine’s war effort, Democrats were quick to leverage his disparagement of this popular initiative for all it was worth. There have been many postmortems written about the outcome of the 2022 mid-term elections. Nearly all focus on political or structural issues. But what nearly everyone fails to understand is that this election further amplified that this nation has effectively and permanently split into two countries tenuously living side-by-side,
