Donald Trump on Warpath: Former President
Accuses Rupert Murdoch, Fox News of Promoting
Ron DeSantis

Original Article

Posted By: Imright, 11/11/2022 7:34:44 AM

Former President Donald Trump expressed his fury at Fox News and owner Rupert Murdoch for promoting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis after the midterm elections in an intentional effort to promote himself as the future of the Republican Party. “NewsCorp, which is Fox, the Wall Street Journal, and the no longer great New York Post (bring back Col!), is all in for Governor Ron DeSanctimonious,” the president said on social media. Since the midterm elections, Murdoch’s media empire began unloading on Trump. The Wall Street Journal published six anti-Trump op-eds, including one calling him “the Republican Party’s biggest loser.”

Conservative Treehouse has an explanation for the Trump DeSantis discussion. In a nutshell, the establishment is pushing a candidate (DeSantis) who has the same chance of winning in 2024 as Romney or McCain did against Obama in 2008/2012. Those two candidates were pushed by the establishment to stop the Tea Party momentum in its tracks which they did. They don’t care if they lose an election, they want to kill off MAGA for good. Trump is trying to save MAGA at all costs. It’s ugly, it’s brutal but he remembers how the establishment stopped this movement the last time and he’s willing to lose a few supporters to save MAGA.

Nothing wrong with DeSantis, as he was soundly elected Governor of Florida for 4 more years; after that he can begin the process of running for President in 2028. Perfect timing for us, except that the MSM wants to rush DeSantis to a 2024 run in order to exclude President Trump. It isn't that they "love" DeSantis, it's that they HATE Donald Trump so viscerally that they would sell their mothers to the devil if the devil would prevent Trump from ever setting foot in the White House as POTUS.

Well, he is losing supporters. There is a way to accomplish what Treehouse explains and acting like this is not that. Trump has been the best president in my lifetime (and I have personally been around four of them, including accompanying one on Air Force One) and I admire him for what he has done, his love for the country and his willingness to fight. He has been lied about and cheated out of re-election. But, he is now jumping the shark. He could pivot and save his legacy, and I hope he does. But he is his own worse enemy and he is handing the noose to the leftist media and the despicable RINOs who hate him, It is all very tragic.

Mr. President. PLEASE remember how to act presidential - whether on camera or at 2AM. It is time to change - to act differently and not petty. You remain essential but you are not our Savior. The war we are in will not be won and over whether you are elected again or not. We will be fighting it long after you are dust. Please Mr. President.

Trump is not losing supporters. Fake trump supporters are pushing the new narrative that trump supporters are turning away. There has been a huge flood of brand new names posting here in the last week. Every single one is a fake "I used to love trump but gosh I think I'll vote for the GOPe guy" poster. You're all astroturfers getting paid to post fake anti-trump drivel. Trump'24.

After a mostly excellent presidential term, Trump is throwing it all away because he can't help himself. He makes everything about him and does not care what it does to the party or the country. Many here may love him, but tens of millions of our fellow citizens detest him so much they chose the Democrats -- who brought us record inflation, soaring crime, and the ruin of our schools -- over the Party of Trump. That is not going to change. If we nominate him, we lose. Period. DeSantis 2024.

OR, worse yet, he's acting like Madonna, who won't accept that her time has come and gone and keeps posting increasingly absurd pictures with fewer and fewer clothes in the hope that people will love her again. If he would just accept his role as an elder statesman, people would happily embrace him for his past accomplishments and future contributions. What a shame. He's becoming a cliche. And, yes, I voted for him twice!

DeSantis is an extremely popular Governor who just won re-election in a historic landslide. I’m not sure his press coverage of this should be characterized as ‘promotion’. Trump doesn’t own Fox News. His behavior reeks of jealousy and sour grapes. Love him or hate him it’s not a good look.

Geez...enough already. Trump is Trump. He defeated a ton of establishment nominees in a primary, won the presidency over a media sponsored anointed queen. His MAGA policy produced amazing results and his international accomplishments are legend--all while fending off multiple impeachments and suffering incompetent or seditious staff. And you are smarter than him on how to win? If you don't like him, don't support him and pick your loser. If you feel it's important to tell the world that you don't like him, have at it. If you think his thoughts or speech should be censored file a lawsuit. If you think you. or the media, the GOPe or the dummocrats are going to defeat him, I give you Liz Cheney.

Hey #1 Ron DeSantis is no Romney or McCain. He is a far bearer conservative then either of them. It is true that the Murdoch owned media has thrown the towel in on Trump and trying to shut him down. Trumps response is to immediately fight back like a cornered tiger. I think he would be better off at this time to embrace DeSantis for having done a great job as governor and to promote him as someone who has the ability to be a president some day. This way, if Trump decides to run again it would put the ball in DeSantis court to decide if he wants to challenge. Only then do you start the competition and let the people decide in the primaries.

Yes, I'm tired of the pettiness and the junior high name calling. I was tired of it before he was elected last time. But the fact remains that my retirement money was never better, we were more respected around the world and things were just better. You just did the same thing, insinuating that anyone who disagrees that Trump should be the nominee is an "astroturfer." That isn't worthy of any conservative. And it's dead wrong. I don't believe Trump should run for many reasons, not the least of which is that in two years, he will be much older, and at his age, age gallops forward, it doesn't creep.

The 'communists' did not make Trump say and do the childish things he has done over the last two weeks. I am judging him NOT on what the media SAYS he did, but on what he specifically and unquestionably DID say and do. You cannot honestly deflect this to some outside malevolent forces that are twisting and distorting his words. Trump's words are clear and unmistakable. He is a baby. The big Trump Baby balloon that Brit would fly all over the world now seems a bit prophetic. So, let Trump announce next Tuesday then let's put him out to pasture by Friday. And if he tries to form a third party... every single word and deed that he spoke and did to help our nation will be at risk as a Trump third party will absolutely ensure a democrat win in 2024.

23, Agreed. Trump has every right to destroy the party with his pettiness, to tarnish the conservative movement with his own personal issues that are JUST NOW really coming out. He has every right to turn himself into a self-parody that would put Alec Baldwin out of work. There are clearly still blind supporters who cannot see more than three feet in front of their OWN faces in order to perceive the damage the man is doing at this point on a much wider basis. Politics is not a prize fight with two in the ring and one will win. Politics is the quintessential 'team sport' in which every voter is an actual player. The attributes of a winning politician do not just consist of being right on principle, but also on being able to effectively harness the power of the electorate to achieve those underlying principles. Trump has thrown that all to the wayside now and has made EVERYTHING about himself. We all knew he lacked a bedside manner 6 years ago. Now he has thrown away ALL manners and I am done with him. 22 years here. I am done with the man-child.

Trump is correct that Fox has turned against him, but that's not the point. His needless criticism of Ron DeSantis is disclosing a devastating character flaw. All hell is going to break out if he announces his intent to run again for President. Democrats will immediately pull out all stops to destroy him as their hatred of him has no bounds. He should announce he's not running. The nameless, faceless people who are controlling the Biden administration are dangerous fanatics. They are not going to change their plans unless and until they are affirmatively stopped. A few days ago, Biden told us he's not going to pivot. Hopefully in the next two years the rising inflation, fuel shortages, supply chain shortages (including food), rationing of electricity, increasing crime, diminishing the strength of our armed services, and millions more illegal immigrates pouring cross the border will awaken Democrats that they TOO will go down with the sinking ship.

Americans could be facing the highest gas prices ever for the Thanksgiving holiday travel season, as millions prepare to hit the road amid still sky high prices and inflation. The national average price for a gallon of gas is projected to hit $3.68 next Thursday, November 24 as Americans prepare for the feast. That number is 30 cents higher than the same time in 2021 and over 20 cents higher than the previous record of $3.44 per gallon in 2012. However, it doesn't appear to be stopping holiday travel, with some people making Thanksgiving 2022 the first time they've visited relatives since the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020.

Nancy Pelosi, who announced she would not continue as the Democratic Party’s leader in the House of Representatives, has been a great legislator. You’d have to be to last for 19 years at the top of the Democratic legislative greasy pole. That doesn’t mean she has been a great font of ideas, a great visionary, or a great leader of the American people. She has been none of those things. Her own contributions to this country on matters of policy, rather than shepherding or opposing bills in the House, have been negligible. The first female speaker added that she will continue to represent the people in San Francisco in the House. The California lawmaker will relinquish her position as head of the Democratic caucus, which she’s held for 19 years, to make way for a “new generation to lead.” With her leadership still in high demand in her party, Pelosi will likely help manage her successor’s transition

There is nothing funnier than watching leftist Punchinellos beclown themselves over the latest “We’ve got Trump NOW!” hijinks. Remember when the FBI raided Trump’s home supposedly looking for “nuclear secrets” a few months back? Guess how that turned out? I’ll let the quislings at the Washinton Post spell it out: Federal agents and prosecutors have come to believe former president Donald Trump’s motive for allegedly taking and keeping classified documents was largely his ego and a desire to hold on to the materials as trophies or mementos, according to people familiar with the matter. In other words, Trump was keeping souvenirs

The impending bloodbath at far-left CNN is destroying the fake news outlet’s morale, a 20-year staffer said. This revelation occurred during a recent company meeting where CNN chief Chris Licht confirmed that layoffs are coming in early December. “There is widespread concern over the global economic outlook, and we must factor that risk into our long-term planning,” Licht reportedly said. “All this together will mean a noticeable change to this organization. That, by definition, is unsettling. These changes will not be easy because they will affect people, budgets, and projects.

Newly revealed body-cam footage reportedly contradicts the Department of Justice’s account of the sequence of events that led up to the attack on Paul Pelosi, the husband of outgoing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, confirming that Pelosi opened the door for the police officers who responded to the 911 call he placed from his residence. While the DOJ claimed in an indictment filed on November 9 that the officers opened the door themselves, body-cam footage viewed by the San Francisco district attorney’s office confirms that it was Pelosi who let them into the home, a source who personally viewed the footage told the NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit.

If you have not watched this video, you really should. Justin from Canada leaked the content of a private bilateral conversation with Chinese Chairman Xi Jinping to the media. Chairman Xi was not happy with the breach of diplomatic protocol. What makes this video remarkable is the purposeful decision by Chairman Xi to confront Justin from Canada in front of a western audience. Xi never speaks directly in public and is always aware of cameras. The Chinese Chairman almost always goes through spokespeople to relay his public communication, reserving his voice for controlled and disciplined conversation with national leaders. However, not this time. Chairman Xi dresses down

Skyrocketing demand for domestically sourced lithium to meet federal goals for zero-emission technologies has developers planning for the next great mining boon in the Silver State, but a rare wildflower may stymie one proposed project. The site of a proposed lithium mine in western Nevada's Silver Peak Range also happens to be the only known place on Earth where a rare wildflower grows in the wild. Environmentalists say the plant is on the verge of extinction, and it's being considered by the Fish and Wildlife Service for protection under the Endangered Species Act. Fans love that Tim Allen is reprising his role as Santa for the Disney+ miniseries, “The Santa Clauses,” but some critics are complaining he’s too much of a “right-wing Santa.” The 69-year-old actor is one of the few openly conservative people in Hollywood. This makes it no surprise that critics zeroed in on a single line in the new “Santa Clauses” series (Snip) In one scene, Allen’s character complains about the state of modern society. “’Saying ‘Merry Christmas to all’ has suddenly become problematic,” he observes. “What was going on in the minds of the writers as they penned this semi-political one-liner?” an article on The A.V. On Tuesday, after a week of counting ballots in an obviously fraudulent election where Republican voters were blocked from voting when they went to the polls, Blake Masters conceded his race to far left Democrat Mark Kelly in Arizona. Arizona was a dependable red state until Democrats and secret sleeper Republicans turned the state over to mail-in voting, ballot harvesting, and broken and fraudulent voting machines, and election tricks by the communist left.
