President Biden attacked Republicans in a speech to the Democratic National Committee headquarters on Monday, stoking claims that Republicans would "crash the economy" in an attempt to force him to gut Medicare. Biden also used the opportunity to coin the term "Mega-MAGA trickle down," which is how he has chosen to refer to Republican economic policies. The president went on to name House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, arguing that he and his fellow Republicans would grow the deficit by $3 trillion if their priorities were to pass. He also argued the party plans to use the deficit as a bludgeon against him.

Sen. Rick Scott’s (R-FL) National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) will reengage with New Hampshire’s Senate race with $1 million dollars after the Sen. Mitch McConnell-backed super PAC abandoned Republican candidate Gen. Don Bolduc last week. The cash infusion comes at the perfect time for Gen. Bolduc, who is now virtually tied with Democrat incumbent Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH) after trailing in the polls by double digits just last month. New Hampshire’s Senate seat is one of eight battleground states that will determine which party controls the Senate. The NRSC had previously shifted its resources and allowed the McConnell-backed Senate Leadership Fund (SLF) to take the lead in attacking Hassan, but

Just a few days after U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced he would pull his Senate Leadership Fund PAC out of New Hampshire on the 25th, two polls showed the Republican candidate surging into what is now virtually a tied race. According to an Emerson poll released Monday, Republican U.S. Senate candidate Gen. Don Bolduc has surged five points since last month and is now down only three points — 45-48 percent — to incumbent Sen. Maggie Hassan. A second poll released by AmGreatness/Insider Advantage says we have a single point race, with Hassan at 48 percent and Bolduc at 47 percent.
