Prepare for the incoming red wave, because we just got more signs that, if the numbers hold, it’s going to be big.
I wrote a week ago about the Fox poll that had the Republicans up by three points in the generic ballot. According to the Fox News models, that advantage would translate to a GOP win, with a gain of 23 seats.
Now, other polls are coming in even higher than that.
First, we have the Trafalgar Group poll on the generic Congressional ballot. That has the Republicans up by more than eight points among likely voters, Republicans 48.3 percent to Democrats 40.2. That’s with even a greater percentage of Democrats

No election is going to change anything.
A constitutional convention might.
The rinos will now and bend the knee.
The demoncraps will steal it again.
WAKE UP!

Agree with #1. What difference will it make?

What good are the 23 seats if they vote in RINO fashion?

Perhaps the Republicans should adopt a national election strategy?
Ask for a veto-proof super majority on the grounds that the Legislature should temporarily steer the country until someone able to do so is in the White House.

The red wave will help by giving Republicans the ability to stay any further legislation by Biden. The ultimate would be to win a 2/3 majority in both the Senate & House, a likely veto proof majority. That is the only way we could overturn any of his prior actions. Otherwise, we could only stop more of the damage. Btw, so far Trump backed candidates have won 93% of their races.

nothing is really going to change. The DC UniParty is really in charge.

The Republicans might win, but what will they do with their victory? If we expect anything more than maintaining the massive leftward gains made by Bidet, then we'll be sorely disappointed. Look at the first part of the Dubya administration, or more recently the first two years of the Trump administration, when the best the GOP could do was a massive federal budget (which Trump went ahead and signed) and fighting every proposal made by Trump.

I’m sorry but a 23 seat gain can hardly be called big. Maybe in a normal non-presidential election year, but after a year and a half of destruction brought to the country by Democrat Party rule? The Democrats have presented a silver platter of malfeasance to the Republicans who, as of yet, have not developed a coherent plan of action to convince voters to throw the Democrats out of Congress by, say, 60 seats at least.
Kevin McCarthy was on Fox News today and was touting the measly percentage advantage enjoyed by Republicans in the generic match up. Maria Bartiromo asked him why, given the disastrous results the Democrats have inflicted on the country, the advantage isn’t much greater. He gave no answer and continued to offer stale platitudes to her and her viewers.
After the Democrat Party race riots of 2020, the Covid shutdowns and the pernicious attacks against President Trump the House should have flipped to Republican control and the Senate should have remained Republican. That it didn’t is the fault of Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell, who despite their failure are still running the show.

If Repubs do win some seats, don't expect anything to change.Only thing they will do is a bunch of useless Investigations, that will amount to nothing. You cannot hold any Democrat for anything.if you are a liberal you get off scott free.If you are a conservative you get time in jail for anything petty. So i wouldn't cheer on the Republicans to do much of anything.

Never underestimate the ability of the national Republican party to screw up a sure thing
A wise lesson from my Nixonian Democrat high school history teacher 50 years ago that still rings true today.

How will delegates to this constitutional convention be selected? Before answering that, who's going to set the rules for selecting those delegates? Oh, yeah, those guys who already control the system this convention is intended to fix. And don't forget, we're a republic, not a democracy...but give it a go if you think somehow things will be improved by a committee of states tinkering with our Constitution. Then there's the ratification process...

The polls show the Quid Pro Joe is less popular than Monica at Slick Willie family reunion. Problem is he isn't on the ballot. The polls show it much closer in congressional races. More effort needs to be into making people aware that the bills that caused run away inflation were passed by the dims in congress.

Ho hum...here we go again. Meaningless polls with the 'October surprise' yet to come. People answer these things and vote with their "Feelings." IF they are accurate, candidates pay good money for a small snapshot in time. Most people don't even start paying attention until about two weeks before the election. Not to mention the remote possibility that a few votes might be borrowed from somewhere else. From a veteran of many political campaigns.

If the Republicans were serious about implementing a conservative agenda, there would be a working group of experienced legislative counsel and staffers working full time drafting the legislative game plan for 1/20/2023. But there isn't. Because they aren't.

Republicans will do what they always do when they are in control. They will pay off their big donors with helpful legislation and hide under their desks when something important happens. They will let all the communists off the hook to "promote unity and healing", and when everyone gets disgusted and elects democrats instead, the blood bath against freedom will continue.
You cant fool me again.

Somehow, I see the RINO's in the swamp, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Trump's plan to give the swamp an enema sounds like a winner though.
