A new Border Patrol enforcement policy has been disseminated to agents warning them not to enforce immigration laws or attempt to arrest migrants near waterways, walls, canals, or other barriers. Wall Street has closed out its worst week since the COVID-19 pandemic crashed markets in 2020, despite a modest bounce on Friday.

YouTube has deleted a video of testimony from a House select committee hearing probing the Capitol riots — because the platform said the posting advanced election misinformation.
The clip, which was uploaded Tuesday by the Democrat-led Jan. 6 panel, was removed because it featured footage of then-President Donald Trump telling the Fox Business Network that the election had been stolen, the New York Times reported.
The Google-owned platform insisted that the excerpt, which also included videotaped testimony from former Attorney General William Barr, violated its terms of service.The clip was no longer visible on the committee’s website as of Friday.

Seven people involved in the production of the late-night anti-Trump “comedy” show The Late Show with Stephen Colbert were arrested Thursday by U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) in the Longworth House Office Building. They had been in another building in the afternoon trying to interview members of the Jan. 6 Committee. They were told to leave earlier and were escorted out during the day but took it upon themselves to return to the building. They had help getting back in.
We are still not sure how many members of the USCP have cried over this seditious attack against American democracy.
A group of people 'associated' with 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' were arrested Thursday night on charges of illegal entry to congressional offices in Washington DC.
Among them is Robert Smigel, best known for his character Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. Smigel is a frequent guest on Colbert's CBS show.
According to Fox News' Chad Pergram, the group was attempting to film and take pictures around the offices House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Rep. Lauren Boebert.
The group had earlier been attempting to get interviews in the Cannon House Office Building but were removed due to a lack of proper press credentials.

The United States has increased heavy crude imports amid Western sanctions on Russia and President Joe Biden’s letter calling on U.S. energy producers to make more gasoline and diesel.
Customs data shows that U.S. refiners last month imported the highest number of crude barrels in nearly two years, with refiners importing 33.5 million barrels of heavy crude in May.
According to the data, 56 vessels discharged nearly 1.1 million barrels per day (bpd) of Mexico’s Maya, Ecuador’s Napo and Oriente, and Iraq’s Basra heavy, among other grades.
Heavy crudes cost less than lighter shale oils that are produced in the United States and typically produce more diesel and less gasoline.

The FBI is investigating attacks on pregnancy resource centers across the country as acts of domestic violent extremism, the bureau announced on Friday.
“The FBI is investigating a series of attacks and threats targeting pregnancy resource centers and faith-based organizations across the country,” the FBI said in a statement first reported by Fox News. “The FBI takes all threats seriously and we continue to work closely with our law enforcement partners and will remain vigilant to protect our communities.”

U.S. regulators on Friday authorized the first COVID-19 shots for infants and preschoolers, paving the way for vaccinations to begin next week. On Thursday, the January 6 House Committee sent a letter to Virginia “Ginni” Thomas requesting she speak to them regarding “information concerning John Eastman’s plans and activities relevant to” their investigation.
The Daily Caller first obtained the letter. It comes just hours after Chairman Bennie Thompson told Axios that the committee thinks “it’s time that we, at some point, invite her [Thomas] to come talk to the committee.”
Thomas indicated that she would be willing to go and speak with the committee and said she “can’t wait to clear up misconceptions.”

Mayor Eric Adams — and a whole host of council members — have slammed a Queens councilwoman who claimed drag storytellers who read books to students at city schools are “grooming” young kids.
Adams defended the program in which drag queens and kings read children’s books in their full drag attire to promote inclusivity after Republican Councilwoman Vickie Paladino claimed it was a form of “child grooming and sexualization” on Twitter.

A record percentage of Americans rate U.S. moral values as ‘poor,’ a Gallup poll released on Wednesday found.
Gallup has been tracking Americans’ view of U.S. morals for the past two decades and noted that while negative views have been the “norm,” the current 50 percent poor rating is the highest on record by one percentage point. Thirty-seven percent of those polled say U.S. morals are “only fair.” Only one percent say the state of moral values is “excellent,” and 12 percent say “good.”

A Catholic private school in Massachusetts has been excommunicated by a local bishop after ignoring orders to remove pride and BLM flags.
The Nativity School of Worcester has been sanctioned by Robert J. McManus, the Bishop of the Diocese of Worcester, for their refusal to take them down.
He says the facility - the only tuition-free private school in the region - cannot continue to call itself Catholic while flying in the face of key church teachings.
The school, run by Principal Emily Kent is the only tuition-free private middle school in the region and serves about 60 students.

A North Carolina charter school with a female principal and vice principal is violating the Constitution because it requires girls to wear skirts, a federal appeals court has declared.
The full Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, the same court that mandated the removal of war memorial crosses in five states, said Tuesday that the Charter Day School's skirt requirement for girls is rooted in unconstitutional gender stereotypes. It is the first time a federal appeals court has said charter schools may be sued for civil rights claims, and will almost assuredly be followed by lawsuits involving sports, bathroom access, and transgender rights.
George Washington University (GW) officials have decided to remove the school’s “Colonial” mascot following years of woke activists demanding the university ban it for not being “inclusive.” Students then suggested the university change its mascot to a “hippo” or a “riverhorse” instead.
“After a thoughtful and deliberate process that engaged the university community for feedback, the George Washington University’s Board of Trustees has accepted the recommendation of a Special Committee to discontinue the use of the Colonials moniker,” GW announced in a statement.
